Consumers Demanding Same Day Delivery? Not All of Them!
BusinessInsider.com is out with new information about what consumers expect and don't expect when it comes to delivery.
Shoppers have lower expectations than shoppers in other countries when it comes to same-day delivery.
According to a recent survey conducted by comScore and UPS:
Even if same-day delivery is available to shoppers, it often comes at a steep price. We know, based on our research of the same-day delivery market, that for most types of purchases shoppers aren't willing to pay more than $5 to receive their order in less than 24 hours.
The combination of lack of availability and high cost is why less than 5% of US e-commerce shoppers say same- or next-day delivery is their most-selected delivery option
