What does it take to launch an online business?

What does it take to launch an online business?

It takes perseverance when everyone says they are a "website developer" but few can do the job. It takes courage when everyone says they are a "website programmer" but few can do the job.  It takes drive and belief in yourself when people make promises they can't keep.

Maybe this story should be about integrity and ethics instead of what it takes to launch an online business.

Over two years ago my wife Julie started the process to launch her online party story supply store. (She was already a top seller on eBay).

People "claimed" they could do the job, from individuals running small businesses to nationwide companies. A promise is one thing, delivering on the promise is another.

Three developers later, more money lost than we want to talk about here to the fast-talking promise "developers," we have arrived.

Three cheers for a business named Volusion. The best work, the best customer service 24/7.

The website: Fun 4 Kids Store "Your Ultimate Party Store." Over 30,000 products.

(I think there is a book here somewhere).
